Who we are
This website is operated by Figtree Fresh Meats Wollongong, a butcher at 8/34 Princes Hwy, Figtree NSW 2525. You can reach us on 02 4229 1739 or through the order form on this site.
We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to type into our order and enquiry form:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number (optional)
- the message or order you write to us
The Christmas box on this site runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you put in the box is sent anywhere until you choose to send the form.
We do not run analytics on this site, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not have a newsletter or mailing list.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your order.
- To keep a record of the order so we can follow up if needed.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
How we store it
When you send the form, your enquiry is emailed to the shop using SendGrid, our email delivery provider, and a copy is saved in our hosting provider’s database so it is not lost if an email fails to arrive. These providers handle the data on our behalf and may store or process it outside Australia. Their own privacy policies apply while your information is with them.
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your order and for reasonable record keeping, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the shop on 02 4229 1739, or use the order form, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
